COURSE & DISTANCES

The entire course is signed on the site of the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven. They swim in the pond of the Campus, cycle along the highway, walk past companies such as Philips and ASML and finish at De Strip. More information about the distances of the different series and the complete course can be found on this page.

The High Tech Campus will be the setting for the 6th edition of the High Tech Triathlon in Eindhoven on Sunday 1 September 2024! Participate or come and have a look during the triathlon and enjoy a great program for young and old. Admission for visitors is free!

* The beginners series of the 1/8 distance (the shortest distance) is specially intended for novice triathletes. So you don’t have to worry about fast athletes on the course; during your race you will only have other novice triathletes around you!

ACCESSIBILITY & PARKING

ATTENTION : The entrance gate via exit 32A High Tech Campus is closed!

Exit 33 Waalre . applies to all directions from the highway

  • From the direction of Venlo/Maastricht turn left at the traffic lights to Waalre
  • From the direction of Antwerp/Den Bosch/Tilburg, turn right at the traffic lights towards Waalre After 400 meters at the next traffic lights turn right to the Burgemeester Mollaan Continue to follow this road for about 1.5 km (2x roundabout straight on), until it goes under the highway   Here the road turns into the Prof. Holstlaan and the High Tech Campus is on the left. Then continue along the track until you reach the entrance gate where volunteers direct traffic to the parking garage.

The High Tech Campus is accessible from the city!
Participants and visitors who come by bicycle. Access via the Noordelijke Dommelpoort where the cars also come in!

Parking

There is ample parking space. Parking garage 4 West and parking garage 4 East are accessible to participants and the public.

FAQ

When will participants receive more information about their participation in the Triathlon?

A week before the start of the Triathlon, all participants will receive a digital program booklet by email with all information about participation, start times, water quality, etc.

Where can I find the rules regarding the triathlon?

The High Tech Triathlon is held according to the official competition regulations of the NTB. You are expected to know these regulations. For more information about this, please visit the website of the Dutch Triathlon Association (https://www.triathlonbond.nl/over ntb/reglementen/)

Is drafting allowed during the competition?

No, drafting is not allowed!

Are visitors also welcome at the High Tech Triathlon?

Visitors are welcome at the High Tech Campus during the High Tech Triathlon on September 1, 2024. Admission and parking are free.

Is access to the High Tech Triathlon free?

Entry to the triathlon area is free! This applies to both visitors and participants of the race.

How can you reach the High Tech Campus?

Are there also arrangements for company teams?

This year it is possible to register as a company team and take advantage of various benefits, such as training, training schedule, care, t-shirt and medal. More information can be found on the Business Series page or send a email to info@hightechtriathlon.com for more information.

Can we pay by debit card or do we have to pay cash on the race site?

Both are possible!

Where can visitors and participants park?

Parking garage 4 West and parking garage 4 East are accessible to participants and the public. There are more than enough parking spaces.

Where can participants change clothes?

In the athletes zone there are tents (ladies and men separated) where you can change clothes.

Is there a guarded area for bags?

No, you can leave your bags in changing tents in the athletes zone.

Will my start number for the triathlon be sent?

No, the organization does not send start numbers. All start numbers can be collected before the start of the triathlon at the registration desk on the High Tech Campus.

From / up to what age can you participate in the High Tech Triathlon?

It is possible for everyone of age to participate in the High Tech Triathlon. However, for the safety of the participants, there are minimum ages for the 1/4 and 1/8 triathlon. For the Parent / Child triathlon there is a maximum age for the children.

  • Parent / Child triathlon : up to 15 years
  • 1/8 triathlon : from birth year 2008
  • 1/4 triathlon : from birth year 2006
